Every Thursday, Marysville Foursquare Church provides a place where rescued food can be shared with neighbors from Marysville and surrounding communities.
Salt of the Earth brings food into the community, church and ministry volunteers help make distribution possible, and people are welcomed without having to prove that they need help.
One of the things that makes a weekly distribution feel welcoming is seeing people who come back to serve again and again. Marysville has those familiar faces.
Some set up food, some greet people, some carry groceries, and some simply make sure nobody feels like a stranger.
